1940s Sapphire & Diamond Tank Ring in 18kt Gold

1940s sapphire and diamond tank ring in 18kt gold. Centred with an oval mixed cut sapphire in a rectangular collet setting, set to top and bottom with twenty four round eight cut diamonds in platinum grain settings, flanked to either side with double rows of twelve rectangular baguette cut diamonds in platinum channel settings, to an impressive tank ring with polished gallery, stepped broad shoulders which taper and curve to a solid shank. Hallmarked 18kt gold, French import marks.
