Antique Eastern European silver Amethyst butterfly clip. A vibrant butterfly clip, consisting of a pear shape mixed cut amethyst in a claw setting abdomen, a round mixed cut amethyst in a claw setting thorax, set to top with two ruby cabochon eyes and two spiralling silver antennae, flanked by to either side with hinged movable wings, textured and set with four round mixed cut amethysts in claw settings, fitted to reverse with four pinching clips. Marked sterling silver.
