The Trinity ring was created by Loius Cartier in 1924. It is argued that the ring was commissioned by artist and personal friend of Louis Cartier, Jean Cocteau. The inspiration is thought to have come from a dream that Cocteau had about the rings around the planet Saturn. The intertwined bands that were the end product of their collaboration have now become a jewellery collectors must-have.
