Georgian braided hair and natural pearl cluster mourning ring in 12kt yellow gold. Centred with a rectangular plaque of braided hair with a rock crystal cover, framed by a row of ten natural pearls in fancy claw settings, flanked to either side with trumpeting shoulders with intricately carved florrets and foliate motifs before tapering and smoothing to a solid shank. Engraved to the inner in italic script 'Eliza th Durham OB.14 AUG 1814 at 78.'
