A decorative plaque brooch centred with nine cushion shape Old Mine cut diamonds in grain settings, decorated throughout with granulation and fine rope twists, fitted to the reverse with a hidden open locket and hinged pin and secure C-scroll, further secured by a fine safety chain and pin. Hallmarked 15kt gold, Birmingham, 1878.
